Batman vs Superman: Wonder Woman Rumors

The internet has been buzzing with rumors about the film Batman vs. Superman Dawn of Justice. Everything to do with the film has been kept secret, with the exception of a glimpse of Batman's suit. Well, today the site JoBlo posted that their reliable resources gave them info on Wonder Woman's costume, Lex Luthor, and what will be spoiled at San Diego Comic Con next month. So it's safe to assume this is all rumor, but nonetheless it's still worthy of discussion.

JoBlo claims, "This Wonder Woman is ripped right from the comics and has a “traditional, yet sleeker” costume that’s “battle ready.” She’ll have a blue leather skirt, silver-armored cuffs that reach to her elbows, golden tiara (with a design of some sort in the center, possibly the red star) and a variation of the traditional-looking red top (no word on additional armor on it)."

The site also goes on to say that in addition to her Lasso of Truth, she'll have a shield, sword and spear. (Not sure how she'll have all of these, considering we've seen her with a shield and sword, and the lasso attached to her hip. Where will she hide the spear?) Supposedly, she is being introduced as Diana when we first see her in the film, and she doesn't transition into Wonder Woman until the final battle in the end.

Well, that's a bummer! We want to see the badass Wonder Woman we all fell in love with. Personally, I loved the Wonder Woman with the pants and jacket. It gave her more edge. It gave her more of a badass look, that just can't be accomplished with a skirt or panties with stars on them.

Moving on, Batman still has Wayne Manor, but chooses to live in a cottage by the lake on the property. Okay...that's not all that interesting. It raises the question of: Why not just live in the manor? *Sigh*

Lex Luthor is rumored to have red hair in the beginning and over time grows to hate Superman, because you know how Lex is with his ego. He will try and convince people to hate and fear Superman.

Overall, I'm hesitant about this movie. Even if all of it has been nothing but rumor, it's still not promising. I also think it's a possibility that the producers wanted certain information leaked to see what the public thinks. All things considered, I really hope this movie lives up to the other Batman movies (the ones with Christian Bale). They should start taking hints from Marvel, and embrace the comics and stay true to the characters, instead of giving us the flashy glamor of Hollywood.

What do you think? Let's hear it in the comments below!
