Magic Celebration
On Saturday, September 7th at 1pm, Magic
Celebration is taking place at TimeZone Gaming, in Fords, New Jersey. Magic
Celebration is a day that all magic players, from beginners to veterans can
play Magic for free. This is a special format made specially by Wizards of the Coast
for players of all kinds.
Players will receive a code for
downloadable content for the Magic 2014 Duels of the Planeswalkers video game. Each
player will get a 2014 Core Set booster pack and an achievement card to keep
score. Upon receiving the booster pack, Celebration players will choose a Magic
2014 Core Set Sample deck to add their booster cards to. (Booster packs, Codes
and Sample Decks are provided by Wizards of the Coast and are limited, so be
sure to arrive early!)
Here's how to play:
Open your booster pack upon entry,
and choose a color of cards from your booster pack to play. You then receive a
2014 Core Set Sample deck of the color you chose. Shuffle the color cards you
chose from your booster pack into your sample deck. Players will then play
three, best out of three matches with different opponents. Once you're done
playing all of your matches, hand your achievement card, (score card) to the
tournament organizer and you will receive a Magic 2014 Core Set booster pack as
a prize!
